Hi Curta enthusiasts,
I have a Curta II with a plastic handle and plastic clearing lever. The manual specifically mentions that you must press the release button to allow the lever to be moved to its stored position.
Yet on my Curta the release button seems to be fixed in position and does not "push". I want to ensure this is normal for this model before I do any damage to the clearing lever.
Regards,
Sean |

The manual was probably never updated to discuss the plastic clearing lever.
In the case of the plastic clearing lever, simply torque the lever counter-clockwise until the catch is released from the "non-depressible" post. _________________ Jack Christensen
