I recently acquired a Type I in good condition. The only flaw is a missing bottom pad in the canister. I suppose a replacement can easily be made from rubber.

I was hoping someone could post the proper dimensions for the bottom pad, in particular the thickness.

There were two or three thicknesses used. I'll have to measure the various foam pads and publish the dimension.
