There's a reference on Jan Meyer's page saying he'll send you a laser-cut steel clearing ring (newly fabricated replacement part, reasonable price) if yours is broken.

Not authentic like the ring Skip is currently listing for sale (see auction site) but may be of interest to a hobbyist who wishes to repair his own machine.

The site also has a very detailed explanation of the manufacturing evolutions, but Google translator makes for some interesting English-German hybrid sentences...you'll have to puzzle out the meaning sometimes!
