hi Pete

how do you feel about the fact that we here run our (more or less) private Curta forum? With something more than sixty posts we are on the top of this forum... There are 459 members but only 142 had ever posted something. Is the Curta theme so boring or do all the kind members only reading but never posting...

Anyway, I wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (also to all the anonymous Curta Members here and there...)

I want to wish a happy new year to all, and may us all make the new years resolution not to buy another Curta, at least not when anyone is looking.

My son keeps telling me five is enough, he hasn't yet seen that Type 2 I just got from Germany

And let me toss out some good will to Jack, sounds like he has not had a vary good 2012, may 2013 be better, hope he and his wife find good health in the coming year.

I don't know about resolutions to not buy any more Curtas, I'm up to 14 of the little devils and was bidding on one last week, argh. But I have all the variants now except...the Demo Box. I think I may be able to resist buying one of those!
