I have my father's Curta type II for sale. It's in excellent condition mechanically and the only possible issue is some adhesive residue from a dymo label with his name on the case and the owners manual and quick guide. Murff was kind enough to work out the correct year of manufacture for serial 514148 as being March 1960.
I would be happy to do a video of the mechanical action should anyone here require it. It's the only one I've ever tried so I can't compare it to others but it seems to operate very smoothly.
I'm looking for $700 or nearest reasonable offer.

Damn it... Dropped my max snipe bid last minute, ... Could have won it for 687, (winner was 682 ( only $5 over next bid so that was there max) but had lowered my snipe bid for some stupid reason, even though I would have prefered type1 this looked to be a nice type 2 at a good price. Feel bad for seller seems they could use the money, and they would have had more selling direct here. Guess win some lose some on ebay. |
