Title pretty well sums it up, how hard is a clearing ring of this vintage to replace, can a replacement even been found? how much would a shop charge to replace?

a) it's very difficult to find a metal clearing ring for Curta type 1
b) it's difficult to replace it by yourself
and
c) it's difficult to find someone who will replace it

So only buy complete Curtas!
