Dear Curta friends,
Just discovered this nice forum.
I am located in Bogotá (Colombia) and I have a very small collection of Curtas.
Thank you for sharing all this interesting information here! _________________ Eliseo |

in the early fifties this Curta was bought in Cucuta, Columbia - locally
Greetings from Switzerland
(PS: no chance to display the letter u with acute accent - in the name cucuta ) _________________ :: m u r f f

I looked that up on your website, la Curta de Cúcuta, fabulous.
I've lived in Colombia for nearly three years, and travelled all over South America. I always try to have a rummage in the flea markets and antique shops but have yet to spot a Curta. I had high hopes in Uruguay, but no joy.
I think that some local knowledge would help so I'm wondering whether Eliseo has any useful pointers! |

Smiths, I am from Spain and have been living here for few years... I never found nothing interesting in the flea markets. My curtas are from Spain, France, NZ, US, GB...
Murff, "La Curta de Cúcuta!" what a nice piece!. Love your webpage... the best curta pics ever.

Two Curta collectors in Bogotá, who would have thought it! I also have 3 x Type I and 2 x Type II. |

That sounds like a nice idea! I have sent you a message.
I saw a Facit C1-13 for sale in Usaquén last week but it was in poor condition and the trader wanted far too much for it. I still keep looking though... |

Out of curiosity, how much would you be willing to pay for a working Facit C1-13? _________________ Curta 1 - 61153

In very good working condition, 30-40 quid. Feller in Usaquén wanted the equivalent of £35 and his was knackered, kept jamming. |

That sounds about right - the postage from the UK probably removes that option... _________________ Curta 1 - 61153
