Just got an early Curta serial number less than 5000. Outside appears to be in very good condition. Does 10 carry. Seems to work fine. BUT... when you turn in upside down you clearly hear something inside is loose. When you bring it back to right side up you hear the same (rattle).

Any ideas

There are several parts loose inside a Curta - one of them is the small tube of the reversing lever... So, if the Curta calculates in the right way - nothing is wrong Exclamation
