Hello,
I bought a Curta Type I on eBay.
The serial numbers are different between the one engraved on the base plate and the one inside the calculator. Only one digit is different.
Have you ever seen something like that ?
I think it looks like a mistake during the manufacturing. Do you think it's possible ?

This is most likely a mistake during the production of this Curta - nothing to worry about it - it makes this Curta even more unique!
I also own a Curta with the exact same numbering error - 6778 / 8778  _________________ :: m u r f f

And both serial numbers (44971/45971) are prime numbers !
I have seen that some people take care of that. |
