I have inherited a Curta type 1 Calculator. It is in immaculate condition in a metal case with an o ring seal. It has the instruction sheet as well as the examples booklet. I would be interested in selling the unit. I have photos showing all the components and the serial number. Please post here if anyone is interested. I understand that it could be worth in excess of $1200. |

Having checked the internet and eBay I think I was misinformed about the value of this unit. Does anyone have any idea as to what might be a fair price? Maybe the best way is to test the water by putting it up on eBay. |

It does seem that eBay will bring the highest price for a Curta. The best thing about eBay is that so many people watch it, so the chances of selling are nearly 100%. A typical price for a Type I in excellent condition is currently about $600. The prices seem low at this time. What is the serial number? A low serial number can make a huge difference in the selling price. _________________ Jack Christensen

Thank you for all your interest. The Curta has been sold and is now being used far more than I ever used it.
Thank you
